Happy New Year - Welcome to 2022

With the turning of the year, I wanted to pause for a moment in the celebrations and rituals of change to offer some thanks.

Our founding authors were (and still are) amazing people, telling wonderful stories that are both entertaining and reach into our hearts. But I'm sure that none of them ever expected that 18 years later, there would still be an entire team of authors regularly contributing more stories. That the canon story line would encompass more than 15 million words and be further supported by millions of words of non-canon work, forums and chat discussions, role playing games, and an entire large (and cross-genre inclusive) community of fans. The Whateley Universe may not benefit from the visibility of a bestselling novel or a blockbuster movie, but stories and concepts from it have been read by millions of people and likely influences the genre in ways we will never be able to completely identify.

And through it all, it has been a process of volunteer contribution. The stories from authors. Community participation. Ad revenue and patreon contributions. So I want to say thank you. To the authors. To the community. To everyone who makes an effort to make the Whateley Academy Universe something incredible and inspiring. Thank you and Happy New Years!
