Christmas Duet is up and ready to read.
It's a fine story about Christmas in Phoenix, with everyone's favourite werefox Fanak, and the dastardly supervillain Forte.

I like to think of it more like a nuclear bomb.

i prefer cliffhangers over an invocation of Murphy followed by an instrument for the universe to use to that end...

Too many people think they know how Chekhov's Gun works. It's so much more fun when Hitchcock's Bomb is ticking.

Its worse this time because we know that killing the parents over the holidays is Very much in the cards.
