Dynamorphs

Well, I've been informed Dynamorphs are Bek's thing and since this is the Whateley forum I was hoping to reach Bek through here. I've got a few questions about Dynamorphs and Dyna-challenges. Most of these stemmed from reading Silent Nacht over and over again.

When a Dyna-host wins a Dyna-challenge and absorbs some of the loser's power (assuming he didn't absorb all of it) does he gain the loser's abilities/powers or the energy strengthen his own? Or both? (I wonder what that says about Sunburst).

Is the Dynamorph and magic don't mix well 's just how mages in-universe interpret things?

Can a Dynamorph grant a powerset or is it a one-power-only kind of thing?

Well, anything about Dynamorphs would be greatly appreciated, really.
