Russian comments spam was created by Erisian

On three of my story postings Russian spammers have smeared their crud as comments. The 'report' button doesn't seem to work though as it comes back with, 'Requested Page Cannot Be Found'.

The ones of mine that were hit are: Into The Light Parts 3 and 6, and Light and Shadow Part 2.

Probably worth checking all the What-IFs for such crud. Any chance of a cleanup on aisles 3, 6, and 2? :/

I can't address the "report comment" problem. However, there should be a link titled "Moderate comments" in the Erisian box in the upper right-hand part of the forums pages. Once there, you can unpublish or delete harassing or duplicate comments. You've probably already done that a time or two, because the default may be "unpublished" and you do have nicer comments that I can read.

I have changed the default on comments to unpublished. That won't keep them from posting them... but it WILL keep them from being visible to the public. Authors (and staff) will still need to delete them from time to time, probably. But at least they won't keep spamming when they see nothing is happening.

Also... I'm paying for an anti-spam extension/service that should be blocking those. I'm going to have to pester them to find out why/how they're dodging that bullet..
