this is basically the last time Morgana could realistically be involved in this particular kind of f-ck up without Thulia there to catch it
Would it be fair to say that you see Thulia as a moderating influence on her fellow students?
In some respects concerning magic. However gives her views on safety this could be a double-edged sword. She will pay more attention to keeping Morgana from doing anything TOO stupid....
She probably will have words later with Morgana and Ceri about the Ring.

Only when it comes to her girlfriend getting into stupid shit with magic, out of simple curiosity, jury is still out for everything else,

to be fair, you try convincing a dragon to make sure there is a bottle of CO2 or expanding foam not too far from arms reach,,,

Lady of the Ring Part 4 comments
Caro searching for the ring, but there is no sign of it. Ouch, $200 down the gutter, literally. I hope she gets the ring back eventually. Caro still has the second ring, but they need to know what went wrong with the first one before trying again. Grimma is probably okay, I doubt a blast like that could harm her.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 5:29 pm
The tunnels, Forgeroom 5 (B1)
A conjured rat is a good idea for a scout. No sign of the ring and the conjured rat dissipates. The hunt for the lost ring will be a tale to tell for ages. Interesting way to make a dowsing rod for the ring. And suddenly no signal, darn it, Stark!
Gwen and Chris are stuck in front of blast doors with no answer and still no signal. Ouch, a new guard on duty while this is happening, poor guy is stuck with this mess. Chris figured out what is going on, I hope the staff finds out Stark did this and he gets in trouble.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 5:38 pm
The tunnels, security booth, (B2)
Ouch, the security guard has to leave his post to report in and wasn't told of a manual way of opening the blast doors in case of an emergency. Listen to the guard and don't try anything, when has a teen ever done that. Gwen, Chris, just because you are future superheroes doesn't mean you should go forcing your way in and try to stop any troublemakers. Tank buster shell, Chris, no!
Wisp realizes Stark actually locked them in. Darn it, Thumper, don't damage the blast door like that. Good grief, listen to Wisp and go talk to Stark, stop being stubborn, he might be the only one who can fix the mess he caused. Firestep, Thumper is right, you took the invitation knowing it was a trap, and you are equally to blame.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 5:47 pm
The tunnels, security annex, western edge (B3)
Find a way out or a secret passage to slip through, I wouldn't trust most secret passages down in the tunnels. Firestep, don't go down further, not even as a plan B. Best to wait even if you get in trouble, rather than lost forever down in the lower levels. What did Thumper hear and is it a threat? Horror movie, an apt description. The same noise again, moving closer and closer. Wisp being freaked out, what is causing the lightbulbs to sizzle and burn out?
Stark shows up, cracking the knuckles of the hand that was stepped on. Wisp has a point, why is Stark acting like a zombie? Thumper, beating up Stark just because you are a part of the Amazons isn't the solution, it will make things worse. Oh crud, Stark is dricking out and has the ring, this is bad. Whoever said this is something else, I'm afraid she is right and that is so much worse than him dricking out.
Thumper runs up and lifts Stark by the collar of his shirt only to be burned, the ring might have a mind of its own and is feeding off Stark's anger and other negative emotions. Stark mocking them, they can't even be sure it is tech at play here, just great. Firestep thinks it is some sort of forcefield and says to do the Beckham, this won't end well.
Stark has gone completely power mad, this is worse than anything before. Ouch, Wisp feels feedback from anything hitting her hard light orbs. Stark hit the ball like a volleyball play and sent it flying, eep. Blows from Thumper to the head and stomach yet Stark isn't knocked down, the ring gave him a lot of power. His pupils have a hint of red, oh crud, please say the ring isn't starting to influence him more. He actually sent Thumper flying with two solid punches, this is a lot worse than I thought. And he believes he is invincible now, they need to get that ring away from him.
Shisa watching the fight and saw something fall into the room, but not what, nor why Stark had such an interest in it. Yeah, Stark leaving on his own without his gear would alarm anyone. Shisa was nearly killed by magic before and can't wrap her head around it, oof.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 5:57 pm
The tunnels, the next security annex - corridor, western edge(B3)
Darn it, Shisa almost strikes Stark but fears killing him if she hits hard enough to get past the power he is using. Dealing with a punch by Stark, she probably saved a life.
Aww, but it is good your friends are rubbing off on you. Lord of the Rings is the perfect quote when dealing with someone empowered by a dragon-based magic artifact.“Fly, you fools!” she snarled.
She immediately facepawed as she realized what she'd said. Helsing was rubbing off on her.
Dowsing rods, for a quick job Caro did good work. D'oh, neither Caro nor Morgana downloaded the tunnel map app. Pointing to the floor below, and with the blast doors down, Caro and Morgana have a tough task ahead. Just a ring, how far could it have gotten? A ring based on the One Ring, something with a will of its own, you would be surprised how far it can travel.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 5:59 pm
Somewhere in the tunnels, close by (B2)
The ring rolled like it had a mind of its own because it does. Heh, Morgana didn't know about Thulia not being a pure dragon and having other things including succubus in her bloodline.
Oh boy, when they find out what else is mixed with the dragon in Thulia they are going to be shocked. The issue is that, apparently, if the blood isn’t pure and you have something else within, like, say, an efreet or an elemental, the spell causes an imbalance within the core and that can have… unpredictable or volatile effects.
Ouch, Thumper is in bad shape due to the heat behind Stark's strikes and shove. Firestep lures Stark away so Thumper and Wisp can escape, no one better end up dead or this ring is going to be destroyed for everyone's safety. Darn it, still has those grenades and blocked an exit. He is going after Wisp, the one who called for mercy for him, to stop the fighting.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 6:03 pm
The tunnels, security annex, western edge(B3)
Darn it, Wisp orbs deflected again by Stark and endangered Firestep in the process. An orb up close with no momentum behind it, Wisp is caught in Stark's grasp, can things get any worse? Stark losing his temper and the orb is used to throw at Firestep, someone needs to help now or Wisp might die with how he is acting. Stark thinks Wisp is lying when she says she is sorry, about to take her out of the fight for good, only for Firestep to come in with a flying kick.
And Stark stops it, this is a nightmare right now, I don't like what the girls have done, but they don't deserve to die for it. Magic flames, Firestep is starting to realize they aren't dealing with Stark's usual devises. Firestep was hit by a full-body tackle and Wisp was then trapped against a wall with the devised substance, he is overpowered right now and I'm not sure if he is in control right now or if the ring is.
All this power and he still acts like a sadist when he is winning, that was uncalled for. Under a barrage of blows from Thumper, Stark whispers to the ring and asks for something. A thin jet of flames forces Thumper away, darn, she could have ended this. *eyes bug out* Three powerful blows and Thumper is out of the fight, she is going to need Doyle.
Firestep in shock, trying to defend herself, only to be lifted by the throat and pinned against the wall by Stark.
He was working on a devise in the cafeteria against school rules, he knew that yet caused the incident and gave an insincere apology, not feeling any remorse and only caring about his devises, his humiliation, and himself. The girls escalated things with the ambush, but he started it all by showing he doesn't care for any harm his devises cause.“You could’ve stepped back… You could’ve told your friends not to get in the way. You could’ve tried to talk and apologize. Instead, you go and cause this. Break my devices, punch and kick me! It’s not fair! It won’t even be fair after I’m done with you.”
Wait, Stark was bullied like this by his own family, no wonder he is so messed up. Bullying from classmates is one thing, but from your own family, that leaves deeper scars.
Firestep now knows about the ring and the message the ring spells out is terrifying. Great, he thinks the ring chose him and only him, he has gone power mad completely. An alluring movement and spelling out an appealing message that almost uttered the words: ‘power’… ‘all you might wish for’ ‘It’s me’.
Reeling back to punch Firestep, a voice calls out Stark from the entrance. Caro and Morgana have found their way there, now to get the ring away from him. Shy before Morgana, like he ever had a chance with her. Morgana is right, the answer to bullying isn't to strike back harder like this, that just makes more enemies. They sanctioned him for using his inventions in an unsanctioned fight, that isn't something they can do to students whose powers don't come from inventions, how is that fair?
Caro notices Stark is wearing the ring and now it is up to Morgana to deal with him. Great, Stark is going Gollum on them about the ring, and how it chose him. Morgana, don't go easy on him, the ring has made him strong. Shit, the ring is going to kill Stark if he keeps using the flames like that.
He is obsessed with the ring, he wants Caro to make more of them. Morgana to the rescue as she grabs Stark by the wrist to restrain him, and Stark tries to struggle against her, but Morgana is winning this wrestling match. Caro is casting a new spell, one to glue everyone's feet to the ground, a nice rhyme to cast it. Morgana is stuck as well, but in a position to force Stark's hand open. Now the issue of getting the ring off his hand without breaking his fingers.
Ooo, cool spell using a tuning fork to make the ring enlarge and just come off Stark's finger. *winces* Stark, you are going to pay for that elbow to Morgana's breast. The ring is free and sent flying, Caro cancels the spell that holds them to the ground, but Firestep was lying in wait. Swiping the ring for herself, Firestep tries to run for it, but Caro notices her. Stark tries to chase her, but Firestep breaks through the blockade into the corridor and is off.
A demon that tempts anyone and grants them power if they wear the ring. And now it is loose in the school. Wisp and Thumper are still out, but at least Wisp is freed by Morgana. And they don't like Morgana because she is a changeling, oh brother. A spell to keep them from interfering with Caro and Morgana getting the ring back is a smart idea. Oh boy, don't let Gwen and Chris spot the ring and be tempted, there is enough trouble already. The third shirt this week, Morgana needs to get help from Eldritch to fireproof her clothes.
Vic in the fifth level for slightly over an hour, yikes. A recap of how he got into this mess. Knee-high water, good thing this is Vic or it would be a lot worse. S.S. Aquaman, it is good to keep his sense of humor in this situation. Aww, I think playing battleship using debris and his powers is cute.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 6:04 pm
The tunnels,??? (B5)
All that walking and no exit so far, rats. Yeah, if a room on this level is locked breaking into it could be dangerous if not deadly, who knows what is trapped inside? Colorful slime sponges, don't tell me a devisor experiment escaped and is living down there now. Yeesh, this really is a dungeon crawl with all that down there. Smart move sealing that room as best as possible, the horrors he could see are probably just the tip of the iceberg in that room.
Ouch, the map app can't make sense of this place either. Stark! If anything happens to Vic because of his blackout protocol Stark better be expelled or worse. Rats, using water to cut through the ceiling, but worried about powerlines and electrocuting himself. A hundred kilograms, that seems a lot less than Vic can manipulate from what we've seen.
A way up to the next level, but barred division and a closed door in the way, give Vic a break already, universe. Whoa, he can pick locks using his power that fast, impressive. Going up the stairs only to bump into that, I would be ready to attack it too. A construct made by an older student, a girl, whom she named Warg. Warg is very unique looking, to say the least. A construct and the girl is named Summoner.
Vic says he is lost and Summoner checks out the stairs, but she has been wandering for quite some time when the path she was on disappeared, darn it, tunnels! A girl something of Summoner's down here and gave her a photo and map as the only means to find it, that isn't a prank, that is dangerous. Ouch, she needs to find her item alone, I hope she doesn't get lost down there permanently. 6 in the afternoon already, good grief, how much longer till Vic escapes from the tunnels?

Mal, I love what you've been doing with some of these side characters. I don't know what plans Neo may have had for Firestep, but I can say that Bergholt "Stark" Stuttley was never intended as more than an in-joke on the spreadsheet, so to see him here lighting it up and being a menace is a joy to behold.
And this is why it's good to share your toys, folks

I am curious as to what Summoner is looking for.
Given the sheer number of devisor creations, random spirits, and minor Mythos beings in the tunnels, and the various mysteries hidden in therein, I wouldn't be surprised if some students would start up secret dungeon-crawling clubs, with the school administration desperately trying to corral those looking for that sort of adventure. Urban exploration taken to a new level. I can even see one or more of the teachers (e.g., Imp) surreptitiously setting up unofficial 'classes' in Dungeoneering, a la Tales of MU (warning, NSFW), though hopefully not involving the wholesale slaughter of (occasionally-)innocent sentient beings in this case... but then again, in ToM the 'Dungeoneering' and 'Mixed Melee' students are basically Jerk Jocks, so it is probably best not to copy that at all.

I suspect that the school administration is going to end up placing the ring in one of the secure lock-ups when all of this is said and done. It seems to be too dangerous for anyone to actually keep.

that's assuming that they don't just have Eldritch destroy it, the danger of just putting it in a vault is that it can bring attention to itself, and a vault will always have people coming in to add more objects and something that small always has the risk of getting lost,

Caro's magic lab space is more like a workshop, nice she can fit a small couch. Darn it, Stark screwed everyone done in the tunnels over with his stunt. Just how dangerous is Firestep going to be now that she has the ring? Ouch, Caro thinks she created the One Ring, it is bad, but it seems to be less subtle about its promises of power to potential wielders. Whatever reason the ring's temptation didn't work on Caro I'm glad.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 6:15 pm
The tunnels (B2)
Is it Stark that wanted to make more of the ring or is it the ring itself that wants more like it made, how to find out. Ouch, Caro's magic has a lot of power, but a lot of limitations compared to the average Wiz-type mutant.
Shisa skulking about after her target, after what she saw with Stark and the girls I would avoid being noticed too. Oof, so Shisa was in the range of Caro's spell and stuck to the ground until it wore off. Ah, Shisa didn't see it was the ring that fell to the floor, at least she is after Stark and Firestep. Ah, the curiosity of Shisa, hope it doesn't drag her too far into this trouble.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 6:18 pm
The tunnels. Annex (B3)
Stark losing the trail of Firestep, but not Shisa who can track her. Oh, crud, the changing scent of Firestep's trail, this is bad. Oh no, it sounds like Corrine is talking to the ring like Stark did. And either Firestep has lost her mind and is beating a metal door for no reason, or she really wants to get out. The flames of Firestep's kicks seem a lot more powerful than before. Crap, her feet have become like a dragon's, this makes dealing with Firestep a lot more difficult. And it just gets worse the more she uses this power, will her legs revert to normal once the ring is removed or is she permanently altered?
Yikes, just attacks the area she hears someone say no from without checking who it is, Firestep needs to be stopped. Corrine is cordial to Shisa, but Shisa acts like she is lost and asks what happened to Corrine. Lying about the ring, just calling it something, saying this thing, Corrine, you won't impress everyone, you will scare them. Points out that Corrine looks different and the ring just manipulates her into asking if Shisa likes it, this is worse than when Stark had the ring.
She thinks the ring was made for her and her for it, hurry up, Morgana and Caro, before she is too far gone to help. And finally, Shisa realizes the ring is just like the One Ring in how it tempts people. And knows she might give into temptation if the ring offered her what she wants, thankful she can't see it now.
Firestep, that is just cruel to say to Shisa, I know it is partially the ring talking, but still. Crud, Shisa reveals she saw what the ring did to Stark and now Corrine knows she lied. Attacking Shisa like that, Corrine is irrational right now, the ring worked that fast on her. Oh crud, the same idea to have Caro make more of the ring, it sure starting to seem like the idea is the ring's and not its wearer.
Ah, so Corrine wasn't going all-out yet, good thing, or Shisa would need Doyle or worse. Ack! Firestep thinks she can take on an army with the power of the ring, power madness from the ring is dangerous. Rats, not able to use her powers for fear of severely hurting or killing Corrine. Argh! Can't even grab Firestep's foot with an invisible hand because of how strong the ring has made her.
This is a rough fight for Shisa, having to play on the defensive mostly, worried about going too far to stop Firestep. Tries to telekinetically choke her out cold, but Firestep breaks free of that as well, this ring needs to be destroyed! What the heck is going on, from the desk and chairs, to what is happening to Corrine and Shisa, it seems like someone is messing with gravity itself in the area.
Gravity is acting as the east wall is down for now. And Morgana and Caro showed up, don't tell me, this is one of Caro's prepared spells, isn't it. A cube squished up against the wall by a magical force, a cute enchanted item. What spell did Caro just cast, I hope it can stop Firestep in time before she attacks Shisa. Shisa in Caro's hands throws the button into the room, it was a teleport anchor that had them switch spots, I love castling teleportation.
Oh boy, turn off the strange gravity field before Shisa is dragged back into it again. A fluffy six-sided die, priceless.
Now that is a powerful spell. Crossby campaign button, oof, wish she could have found something better to focus the spell through.“Whichever side of the room it touches will become the center of gravity… Except for me or anyone that I’m in contact with at the moment of casting.”
Even for a one-time use item with a limited duration that is very handy.“It’s enchanted so that I’ll teleport to it wherever it hits the ground.”
Gah! I knew it, the ring is basically the One Ring, and Corrine asking Caro to make 9 more like it confirms it. Caro goes to use the tuning fork again, but Corrine attacks with a chair and stops her, smart opponents are a pain. Drat, the gravity dice dropped to the ground and there goes the effect, we have to stop Corrine from fleeing with the ring. Caro has to use the button to escape from Corrine's grasp, but now the tuning fork is in danger.
Morgana to the rescue, someone get the tuning fork before Corrine can! Well, that is one way to stop Corrine from getting the tuning fork, gravity dice to the rescue even if it drags Shisa along with Corrine to the wall. Dang, Shisa can push energy into her muscles to increase her speed, impressive. Ouch, teleport and be chased, teleport and be chased for over a minute, poor Caro and the campaign button.
Ouch, crashed into by Corrine, this day can't end any sooner for Caro. Rats, there goes the teleport button, Corrine ruined a perfectly good enchanted item. Going to grab Caro only to be pulled toward the ceiling by the gravity dice, now who tossed it up there? Ouch, poor Morgana and Shisa, gravity being reversed like that, sounds like a bad carnival ride. Less than a minute until the gravity cube gives out, Morgana needs to catch Shisa in her arms and Caro has an idea, please let it work.
Corrine was hit in the back by desks and sent crashing down, now for the others to escape and regroup. Yay! Morgana has Corrine's ringless hand pinned, now to get that obnoxious ring off her. One leg is pinned by Morgana, the other by Shisa's telekinesis and they just have to wait as the ring grows wider for it to slip off Corrine's finger. Trying to force herself free with the hand with the ring on it was foolish and desperate, and damaged a water pipe in the process.
Darn it! The ring melted through the damaged pipe and into the water, not it is loose in the water system of the academy, it is as sneaky as the One Ring in escaping. It went upward because of the gravity spell, arrggh! How long is this ring going to evade them? At least Corrine reverted to normal.
Oof, sent to the floor and then hit by all that water, Morgana and Corrine are going to need a warm shower later. Good grief, Corrine is still obsessed with the ring and just runs off before anyone can stop her. The hunt back on for the most dangerous ring at Whateley Academy, at least currently, I don't its history with enchanted or otherwise rings.
Caro, no, the staff won't blame you for not knowing elements of Morgana's nature even she doesn't know about. Get them to help you before things get worse. Caro is right, that thing needs to be destroyed for the good of everyone. Morgana, please don't tempt fate with those kinds of worries, it might answer you. And the dowsing rods are toast, now how are they going to track that darn ring?
Shisa wishes to help and protect them, she is a good kid. An idea to fix both problems and it involves the gold flakes from the dowsing rods, interesting.
*facepalms* Caro, I see a lot of apology chocolate and favors doled out in your future.“Depends on how big I screw up,” Caro muttered. “I usually just gift out apology chocolate and, on extreme occasions dole out favors… Of course, If I’m lucky, I might make it out unscathed, people might understand the problem, dissociate from the events or outright forget ever happened.”
Gianni 'Johny' Rossi, having to work on a broken water pipe and with how he is feeling right now if he finds the ring, eep. He calls that a repair job, he should have called in help to fix the busted pipe. Crud, he is already wearing the ring, things are going to be worse before they come close to getting better.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 6:31 pm
The tunnels, (B1)
Thinking because he was a high member of a crime family he shouldn't have to do the job he was assigned, he has a huge ego already, the perfect person for the ring to manipulate. Oh crud, he has power now and he plans to leave stuff for everyone else to clean up using the flames the ring has given him. The school is in danger.
Used the gold from the dowsing rods to make a clip-on earring for Shisa so she can track the ring and be protected from its influence, smart, though I get why Shisa is having trouble. They have found the ring and know an adult man is wearing it, please let it be easier to get off him than it was with Corrine.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 6:35 pm
The tunnels, (B1)
Vandalism, for a former high-ranking member of a crime family Gianni sure thinks small. Fail to sneak up on him, yet he remains polite to them and they say they lost their stuff in a room on the floor below them. Yet Gianni says he quits and will rule the criminal underworld with the power he has, oh boy, he has no idea of the kind of heavy hitters that are out there. And he has gone power-mad, the ring sure knows how to pick them.
Crap, the ring told Gianni that Caro made it and can make more like it. Tried to lure him into a trap and now Gianni has Caro by the wrist and she can't use the tuning fork. Morgana is down and Gianni knows who she is, calling her a menace to infrastructure, well that is just rude. Wanting Caro to make 12 more rings, Gianni is even more power-mad than Stark or Corrine were under the ring's influence.
Shisa acts and Caro is freed from Gianni's grasp, and isn't listening to reason, nor demands that it isn't his ring. Morgana, never mention you are going to destroy a magical item in the presence of its wearer. The tuning fork starts to work, but suddenly Caro and Shisa disappear, it is like the teleportation magic from the broken button activated. Morgana is left alone with an angry Gianni who is still keeping the ring on and its powers. Where did Caro and Shisa end up, how will Morgana deal with Gianni without the tuning fork? I hope we find out soon.

How to get the ring off: when in doubt apply brute force, a nearby hydrokinetic would help, but mostly after its off
Wouldn't it be easier to start with slow strokes to warm things up before moving on to the water-based lubricants?

Ouch, the poor water maintenance staff who have to clean that place up. That room never stood a chance. The creature can sense when the tunnels are starting to change, whoa. Mew, a cute name for him/her/it. Aww, looking for Vic, but no sign of him. Going to investigate Shisa, but worried she might want its bell, cute. Scared by her suddenly turning around, Mew flees and hides, interesting ability.Friday, November 4, 2016 - 6:48 pm
The tunnels, (B3)
Presence hovered in the darkness, is Mew sensing the ring? Sounds like Mew can teleport, but prefers not to blind teleport if it can help it. Ah, he has found the room where the big fight happened, I'd be wary of that scene myself. Mew has found the piece of the button. Ah, so this is how it was triggered and Caro was teleported back to the button, silly Mew. Aww, Mew fled in fear again.
And Caro finds the two pieces of the button in her hand, while Shisa figures out they are back in the room they just left behind. Morgana is left behind and in trouble, Shisa is too far from it to see the ring, and the spot where the stairs lead up to the 2nd floor is a dead end. What else can go wrong today?
Morgana alone with Gianni and trying to get the still enlarging ring off him, and he has training as a boxer if not more. Creep is trying to intimidate Morgana into leaving without the ring, not going to happen. A spell for a blinding flash of light, an opening that Morgana needs, but narrowly misses and gets a gut punch in return. Darn, the creep has been hit with a flashbang before, need something stronger to disorient him.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 6:48 pm

Crud, the ring is starting to shrink back down without Caro there to sustain her spell. Dragon form time! More taunting by Gianni, this guy has an ego and a half. Gianni, you are threatening Caro with what you just said, bad move. Nice, distract Gianni with the truth about needing Morgana's blood to make any more rings. Who is the figure moving down the corridor, please let it not be Firestep.
Darn, it is her. Another person who is obsessed with the ring in the fight now, this isn't good. Arguing over who the ring belongs to, threats of losing limbs, good grief. Arrgggh! Now Stark is here, one break today for our poor girls, just one is all I ask. And he has restocked that annoying devise, even worse. Ouch, all this arguing is headache-inducing, I just want that ring gone already.
Uh oh, Morgana, they may help you get the ring of Gianni, but you have to contend with those two trying to keep it. Darn, Gianni dodges fast-drying cement goo. Morgana has Gianni on the ropes thanks to Firestep, but then Stark screws it up with a devised grenade while she is in range. Fast-drying cement goo from the grenade has Gianni pinned, but Morgana has the worry of dealing with her temporary allies turning on her once the ring is off Gianni.
5 minutes of fighting and Gianni's stamina have taken a toll from the fight. Stark needs to work on talking with cute girls and not getting flustered so easily, it would save him a lot of future trouble. Morgana needs something slippery and when the grenade goes off it is semisolid liquid, and it is set on fire by Gianni, great, flammable tar goo. Wrong configuration, darn it, Stark!
Morgana is prepared this time, a spell to put out the flaming tar goo, pin one arm, then Firestep helps to pin his other arm and leg. Oof, cold, oily liquid while on the ground and everyone falls down, it only last 2 minutes! At least it works out as Morgana gets the ring off Gianni's finger, and he rants only to pass out from the strain of using the ring.
Alliance over, now Morgana has to deal with Firestep and Stark coming after the ring. Morgana moves to wear the ring, yet it does nothing for her, nor tempts or offers her anything, figures since her blood was used to make it. Stark hits her with electrified goo right before she can put it on, causing Morgana pain and ticking her off. Darn, another blast of the goo and she can't move, this ring needs to be destroyed already.
Arrggh! She had an idea to ward them off, but Firestep stamps out the flames in Morgana's hand. Stark screws up in trying to hit Firestep and Morgana with a sweeping attack only for both of them to dodge out of the way. Who else is in the corridor that Morgana is fleeing into? Another attack by Stark forces Morgana to try for the other entrance that Stark blocked in the earlier attack, I hope she can get through it in time.
Nice use of the oily black tar, Morgana, sure got Firestep to think twice about attacking right now. Stark down to his last grenade, Firestep is on the move, and Morgana tries to reason with the two about other options than using the ring. But the ball of fire goes out, dang, that stuff burns a lot faster than actual tar. Firestep keeping Morgana on the ropes, Morgana running out of ideas, and Stark is going to use a freezing grenade, no!
The grenade in the air is about to hit Morgana, it all seems over when an orb of energy hits the grenade and slowed it down. Yay! Christina is here, and she deflects the grenade with a supply-closet broomstick. Yikes, that could have killed Morgana, Stark is out of his mind using that. Christina Corbyn, part of the 'Terrible Trio' along with Caro and Gwen.
Darn, Firestep beats up Morgana more and forces her to let go of the ring. Christina has Stark subdued, but now the ring is near her, uh oh. Oh, good, ball of tar to blind her by Morgana, no Christina under the ring's influence. Darn it! The ring used the tar and its own heat to burn through the floor, not again. And Christina realizes they have a Smeagol situation going on which Morgana confirms.
Good, the black good isn't toxic. Good, a pair of zip ties and a piece of rope to keep Stark and Firestep under control. Then the janitor Gianni tied him up with the rope. Christina can't help out, anyone new seeing the ring is too much of a risk right now. Chris is a clairvoyant and can 'see' where the ring is, it is trying to reach floor 3 again, strange. Clairvoyance may not be flashy, but I would keep it secret as too many government agencies would try to force you to work for them.
Blindfolds herself and uses a broomstick as a cane, smart idea, Christina. She doesn't go around blindfolded often, just how many times has Christina gone around like this? Shoot, the ring is already on the third floor, time to hoof it.
3 times trying to find stairs to the 3rd floor and all dead ends, just what are the tunnels playing at? A living maze and that is all the more reason they should figure out how to make adamantine plates between the 2nd and 3rd floor basement and just seal it all off. Seesh, from the sound of it even the 2nd floor isn't completely safe from this effect.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 7:14 pm
The tunnels, (B3)
The tangle is being really playful today, hide the stairs must be its favorite game. Hey, the school approved the project even with Morgana's blood involved, it is their responsibility for not making sure it was pure dragon and thus safe to use. Ouch, Caro has heard of the attempts to alter BITs using magic and what happened. Caro is in doubt if she can do such a thing on purpose or not, the poor kid needs some guidance.
The ring burns through the ceiling and only Shisa has noticed as Caro is too absorbed with her ideas right now. Darn, the ring resisted Shisa's TK, too small to get it out of the hole too. And it has burned its way down to the 4th floor, at this rate we are going to end up with Vic or the girl he is with ending up possessed by the ring before they reach it. Sorry, Caro, the description of the 4th floor was only partially a joke, it is a lot worse than the 3rd floor. Caro tries to go on without Shisa, but Shisa won't abandon a friend and heads on with her.
On the way down from the 2nd to 3rd floor and Chris almost fall if not for Morgana. Chris is caught up in the order of events since the ring was lost to the girls at the forge. Oh no, Chris just jinxed them by saying all that. Thinking they just have to find the ring and she maps their way out. Now I know Vic or the girl he is with is going to end up with the ring.Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 7:20 pm
The tunnels, (B2-3)
Chris just told Morgana the ring is on the 4th floor, what the floor is like, and someone just found the ring, crud. Guessing it is Vic.
At least Vic has made it to the 4th floor from the 5th floor. Trying to make sense of that architecture is going to drive you mad, Vic. All stops being funny, I thought you passed that point already. A golden light ahead, yet it is familiar to Vic, so not the ring, good. It is Gwen, Vic's stepsister, what is she doing down in the tunnels?Saturday, November 5, 2016 - 7:24 pm
The tunnels, (B4)
Gwen, trust me, Vic has seen things down here that would make you believe Whateley is a lot weirder than it appears on the surface. Oof, on the hunt for Caro and Morgana and ran into the lockdown. Chris and Gwen split up to search for Caro, Chris going up, Gwen going down, not smart in the tunnels. In 3-5 minutes, there is hope the hole is still in the same spot! Quick, get Vic back to the 3rd level and fast.
Nope, too late, the tunnels have already changed and now Gwen gets to learn the true dangerous nature of them and their shifting ways. Gwen still has hope they can find a path, you sweet summer child. Lillian aka Summoner is a friend of Gwen's, it figures. Bothered by her past, such a common thing at Whateley it hurts.
Nice to see these two talking and not avoiding each other for a change. Good, I hope the matter with the arm isn't brought up by Dereck again either, sore subject needs to be forgotten. I hope Caro turned that student back from being a frog, that is horrible! Uh oh, Vic just put his food in his mouth again, it isn't easy being the girl and having to turn down guys. This is how brothers and sisters should be.
Please tell me that dry holler wasn't the ring making noise. A reddish light about the height of a person, like a flame, please say Summoner hasn't found the ring. Yup, it is the ring alright and someone is wearing it.
Please say that isn't Summoner who has somehow been rapidly transformed by the ring.It was humanoid in figure but incredibly thin and without a hint of clothing about it, just charcoal black skin. Its movements were awkward and stiff, almost spastic as a crunching sound seemed to follow them.
What the! It is almost like the ring formed itself into a body from the burning tar and cement around it rather than a human wearing it. What the bleep, there are 4 of those things, run! Good thing Gwen got over her shock and got them out of there. Yeah, not knowing about the ring I would have the same guesses as Gwen to the nature of those things. One figure in the center of the others acting differently, the leader, but who is it?
Seeing what just happened to the charred beings, no, not her, not Penny Dreadful! Crud, Gwen, and Vic are caught in a dead end with the charred beings and their leader closing in. Telepathic link and discussing how to deal with the current threat. Ack! Vic only has the water in his bottle and Gwen is at a quarter charge right now.
Got that right, they would be locked up and fed through a door for everyone's safety.<Dumb question. If anyone had some zombie virus power, that would be a one way ticket to a lock-up in Hawthorne in perpetuity…>
Oh boy, Gwen still thinks it is Summoner and doesn't know if Summoner can summon a dozen at once like this. Oh crap, on the hunt for the Amazons and tired of their pranks, it is Lillian, the ring gave her a big power-up and has made her mentally unhinged right now. Gwen goes out and it is Lillian, not attacking is good. So is so far gone she even turned Warg into one of these burning summons, this is bad.
At least Summoner found what the Amazons hid in the tunnels. Eep, talking about no one stepping on the girls of their wing of Whitman ever again, this just got a whole lot more dangerous. Okay, good, a deal to go their separate ways to find the exit and those who escape this level will get help for the other. But what Summoner says about the Amazons and making them pay for their pranks has me scared.
Trying to get Gwen to join it, but Gwen can't do that, this isn't going to end well. Gwen doesn't want to attack and hurt them, but the ring has twisted Summoner's desires so much that she feels nothing is good enough for payback now. Great, won't let Gwen leave because she thinks Gwen will rat her out, this just turned ugly. Vic grabs Gwen as they run for it with the summons giving chase. Good, Gwen's Blasts are taking out the charred ones at least. I can't believe Summoner said that line, she has gone full villain. As Gwen and Vic flee with the horde of summons behind them, how will they get out of this mess?
